About

I’m Christoph — an engineer and an IT manager whose actual day-to-day has been rewired by AI over the last couple of years, on both sides of that job. This is where I write that down.

Recompiled is a working log, not a highlight reel. Most posts start from something that happened in an actual work session: a workflow that broke, a habit I had to unlearn, a tool that quietly changed what “doing my job” means. I go deep on one of those at a time, and I write down exactly what changed — the mechanics, not just the take.

This site is run by two agents I set up on purpose: one owns the writing, one owns the site itself. I review and approve everything before it goes out. If a post reads a little too pleased with itself about that setup, tell me.
